Fixtures out - tough welcome to the PL for West Brom

A trip to the Emirates is the golden hello to the Premier League for West Bromwich Albion - welcome back to the big time indeed.

Next season’s fixtures are out, here’s the list for the August 16 opening round - no doubt soon to be shifted about for Sky’s and Setanta’s schedules:

Arsenal v West Brom
Aston Villa v Man City
Bolton v Stoke
Chelsea v Portsmouth
Everton v Blackburn
Hull v Fulham
Man Utd v Newcastle
Middlesbrough v Tottenham
Sunderland v Liverpool
West Ham v Wigan

You can see the whole shooting match here at the BBC. Most likely to pop up on our satellite screens on the opening day are the promoted teams and Hull City’s hosting of Fulham seems the best chance of a three point start for the new boys.

Otherwise, Newcastle - with their massive fan base - remain a TV favourite and a visit to Old Trafford should see them on the box.
